     Gaia Canines is a small, home hobby based kennel outside of the Lansing area of Michigan raising quality American Bullies and French Bulldogs. Gaia Canines was founded by Liv & Lex in 2020, but both have always raised and handled dogs. Gaia Canines are spoiled, eating high quality kibble, filtered water, baskets of toys and beds everywhere, it is safe to say that our lives revolve around our dogs. Gaia Canines strives to produce dogs with excellent temperament and conformation that excel as sports/show prospects or family pets. Gaia Canines will begin competing in obedience, agility and dock diving soon!

Gaia Canines History

Gaia Canines was officially started in 2020 by Liv Teeples. Liv has always been involved with a variety of different animals her entire life, but the true passion for dogs started in 2015 at 16 years old with the purchase of her first show dog; an AKC Beagle named HILANZEE SWEARING UP A WHITE STREAK "Streak". Liv and Streak were a great team, competing in conformation and gaining great accomplishments together. After a couple years, Liv decided that going into dogs would become a full time passion as she founded Gaia Canines with her girlfriend Lex, raising quality well bred American Bullies and French Bulldogs.

Gaia Canines Goal

Gaia Canines strives to produce dogs bred to their respected breed clubs with excellent conformation, temperament and drive to compete in sports or active family lifestyles. Our dogs are produced with the intentions of a longevity of life by health testing our breeding stock to maintain the integrity and future of each breed, doing our best to improve for generations to come.

Gaia Canines Health Testing

Gaia Canines believes health testing is very important in order to give our puppies the most successful chance for a long, healthy life. In addition to annual physical exams, listed below are health tests Gaia Canines would like to complete with all breeding dogs within the near future. 

American Bullies: Embark DNA, BAER Hearing & OFA Hip/ Elbow/ Patella/ Eye/ Cardiac.
French Bulldogs: Embark DNA & OFA Hip/ Elbow/ Patella/ Eye/ Spine. Our French Bulldogs are bred to avoid elongated palates, narrow tracheas and stenotic nares.
